This is an original, unfolded, subway theatrical movie poster from 1967 for Ian Fleming's You Only Live Twice starring Sean Connery, Akiko Wakabayashi, Mie Hama, Donald Pleasence, Bernard Lee, Lois Maxwell and Desmond Llewelyn. Lewis Gilbert directed the classic James Bond film. Frank McCarthy is the artist for the poster.
There were four different subway posters used to market the film in metro stations. This poster, showing James Bond dangling over a volcano, is one of the rarest of the designs. It measures 45” x 59.5” and is in very good to excellent, unused condition with a few, tiny creases on the left side and minimal edge wear from handling. Unlike many subway posters, it has never been folded.
Please look closely at the photos (this is the exact poster you are buying). It is not cropped or a stock image. The black squares and circles around the edges of the poster are magnets and not pins.
