This is an original, French grande theatrical movie poster from 1981 for History of the World Part 1 starring Mel Brooks, Dom DeLuise, Madeline Kahn, Cloris Leachman, Gregory Hines, and Sid Caesar. Mel Brooks also directed the film. Jean Mascii is the artist for the poster based on an original design by John Alvin.
The poster measures 46” x 61” and is in very good to excellent condition with minimal wear from long-term storage. It was folded at the time of printing. Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters.
Please look closely at the photo (this is the exact poster you are buying). It is not cropped or a stock image. The black circles in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
