This is an original Italian movie poster from a 1970s theatrical re-release of Doctor Zhivago starring Geraldine Chaplin, Julie Christie, Tom Courtenay, Alec Guinness, Omar Sharif, Rod Steiger and Ralph Richardson. David Lean directed the Academy Award-winning epic. Howard Terpning created the artwork for the poster.The locandina poster measures 13”x 27” and is in good to very good condition with some spots of minor to moderate edge wear. It was folded when printed back in the 1970s. Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters. The poster has been stored flat for many years and will be shipped securely in a rigid tube mailer.
