This is an original, rolled, forty by sixty, theatrical movie poster from 1973 for The Day of the Jackal starring Edward Fox, Alan Badel, Tony Britton, Cyril Cusack, Michel Lonsdale, Eric Porter, and Delphine Seyrig. Fred Zinnemann directed the classic thriller.
The poster measures 40” x 60” and is in very good condition with a few, tiny tears along the right border and some minor discoloration along the top and right borders. It has never been folded. Forty by sixty posters were printed on slightly heavier paper stock compared to one-sheet posters.
Please look closely at the photos (this is the exact poster you are buying). They are not from a stock image. The black squares in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
This very rare and collectible poster, printed in 1973 to promote the theatrical release of The Day of the Jackal, is not a reproduction or a reprint.
