This is an original, French moyenne theatrical movie poster from 1976 for the initial release of Salo, or the 120 Days of Sodom starring Paolo Bonacelli, Giorgio Cataldi, Umberto Paolo Quintavalle, Aldo Valletti, and Caterina Boratto. Pier Paolo Pasolini directed the Italian sexploitation-horror thriller based on the novel by Marquis de Sade. Jouineau Bourduge is the artist for the poster.
The poster measures 22.5" x 30.75" and is in excellent condition with minimal wear from long-term storage. It was briefly folded at the time of printing but has been stored flat for many years. It will be rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.
Please look closely at the photo as this is the exact poster you are buying. It is not cropped or a stock image. The black squares in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
This rare and collectible poster, printed in 1976 to promote the French theatrical release of Salo, or the 120 Days of Sodom, is not a reproduction or a reprint.
