This is an original, half-sheet movie poster from 1956 for Alfred Hitchcock's The Wrong Man starring Henry Fonda, Vera Miles, Anthony Quayle, Harold Stone, John Heldabrand, Charles Cooper and Esther Minciotti. Alfred Hitchcock directed the classic, New York crime-thriller based on a true story.
The poster measures 22" x 28" and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display. It was in good to very good condition prior to linen-backing with some creases, small tears, and smudges around the edges, and a few smudges and scuffs scattered in the image. The poster has never been folded and displays beautifully after linen-backing. Please note that the restorer or a subsequent owner carefully trimmed away the excess linen-backing leaving the poster at the original size. The poster itself has not been trimmed.
Please look closely at the photo (this is the exact poster you are buying). The small black squares in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
This rare and collectible poster, printed in late 1956 for the January 1957 theatrical release of The Wrong Man, is not a reproduction or a reprint.
