This is an original, rolled, one-sheet movie poster from 2002 for a theatrical re-release of The Last Waltz. Martin Scorsese directed the film featuring The Band (comprised of Rick Danko, Levon Helm, Garth Hudson, Richard Manuel and Robbie Robertson) during their “farewell” performance at San Francisco’s Winterland Ballroom in 1976. The film features appearances and performances by Eric Clapton, Neil Young, Neil Diamond, Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, Emmylou Harris, Van Morrison, Dr. John, Muddy Waters, Paul Butterfield, Ringo Starr and Ron Wood. The film was originally released in 1978 and was re-released in theaters in 2002. This movie poster is from that re-release.
The single-sided poster measures 27” x 40” and is in very good to excellent condition with minimal wear from previous handling. It has never been folded.
