This is an original, Cinema mini-window card movie poster from 1968 for 2001: A Space Odyssey starring Gary Lockwood, Keir Dullea, William Sylvester, Daniel Richter, Leonard Rossiter, Robert Beatty and Douglas Rain. Stanley Kubrick directed the classic science-fiction film. Bob McCall created the artwork for the poster.
The poster measures 9” x 14.5” and is in very good condition with some discoloration along the top and bottom white edge (likely from contact with tape many years ago). There are a few, tiny creases along the top edge of the card with minimal wear around the rest of the edges. It has never been folded.
Please look closely at the photos (this is the exact window card you are buying). It is not cropped or a stock image.
This rare and collectible poster, printed in 1968 to promote the initial, Cinerama theatrical release of 2001: A Space Odyssey, is not a reproduction or a reprint.
