This is an original, one-sheet movie poster from 1980 for The Shining starring Jack Nicholson, Shelley Duvall, Danny Lloyd, Scatman Crothers, Barry Nelson, Philip Stone, and Joe Turkel. Stanley Kubrick directed the film based on the novel by Stephen King. Saul Bass is the artist for the poster.
The National Screen Service printed poster measures 27” x 41” and is in very good to excellent, unused condition with a tiny, faint smudge on the top-right edge. It was folded at the time of printing and has some creasing near the folds from long-term, folded storage. Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters.
