This is an original, linen-backed, insert theatrical movie poster from 1956 for a theatrical re-release of Brute Force (1947) starring Burt Lancaster, Hume Cronyn, Charles Bickford, and Sam Levene. Jules Dassin directed the film noir crime film.
The poster measures 14" x 36" and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display. The poster was in good condition prior to backing with some smudges and spots of light discoloration along parts of the white edge. The poster was folded at the time of printing and had minor creasing along the fold lines. The poster was backed in the European style with minimal restoration. The poster was backed some years ago and has some discolorations on the excess linen edges from long-term storage.
Please look closely at the photos (this is the exact poster you are buying). The black squares in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
